With Small Capital, Cultivate Your Livelihood

Families in Sonbhadra envision transforming a modest sum into thriving small businesses, securing their livelihoods and investing in their children's future.

With Small Capital, Cultivate Your Livelihood
If I had even 20,000 rupees, my family and I could start so many things. We could cultivate vegetables and sell them in the market, or open a small shop, gradually expanding it. This isn't just about earning money; it's about creating our own employment and managing our work, giving us daily income. We might start with something like goat farming, or making egg rolls and flower carts, alongside poultry. My group could sew leaf plates and take them to the market. We even have skills like hammering iron to make axes, sickles, spades, shovels, and tongs—this is our livelihood. With this small capital, we can ensure our children are educated in a good school and manage our households well, enabling us to live a comfortable life.

If I had received 20,000 rupees, I would have cultivated vegetables and earned money by selling them in the market, which would have given me employment, and I would have also done other businesses.

With 20,000, we do farming and also grow vegetables. We engage in business, starting small and gradually expanding it. This gives us employment and helps us earn our livelihood.

If we are given 20,000 rupees, we will open a shop, educate our family and children, we will also get money daily, and in this way, we will also get employment.

If our group received 20,000 rupees, then all of us would sew leaf plates and take them to the market to sell. In this way, all of us would get employment and our business would also run.

We make axes, sickles, spades, shovels, and tongs by hammering iron. We give iron a new shape by hammering it. This is our livelihood; this is how we sustain ourselves and earn a living.

If our group had received 20000, we all would have done the work of stitching leaf plates/bowls and taken them to the market to sell. We would have also gotten income and all of us would have gotten employment.

We do farming at our home. If we could earn 20,000 from vegetables, we would expand further. We would take the vegetables to the market and sell them, which would also provide employment, and we would keep earning our own money. Gradually, we would undertake larger projects, essentially running a business.

If I had received 20,000 rupees, I would have started goat farming and provided a good education for my children in a good school. This would also give me employment and I could manage my household well.

With ₹20000, we can open a retail shop and gradually expand it, and then live a comfortable life from that.
