I am an SHG woman, and many of us come from poor families, living with great scarcity. When the government provides assistance, even a modest sum like 20,000 or 50,000 rupees, it offers a path forward. For me, and many others, poultry farming is a way to support my family; I raise chickens and sell them, leading my family's livelihood. Others open clothing shops, sell stationery items, or run small market businesses. This small capital is the seed that helps us grow an income, improve our living standards, and ensure our children are supported.
