For over a hundred years, our ancestors have lived in this village, and their wisdom is our technology. We cultivate our land by cleaning the local soil, growing rice, ragi, black gram, and horse gram that feed our families for twelve months. It's how we keep the jungle filled with animals and birds, maintaining the balance that sustains us. We know our local forest foods like Koridi mushroom, Madia, Kangu, and Sua because this knowledge has been passed down through generations.
We face challenges, and we understand that if we don't act, our way of life could be lost. That's why it is absolutely necessary to pass on our traditional traditions from one generation to another. This isn't just about farming; it's about preserving our heritage and ensuring our children can continue to thrive on this land, just as we have.
